TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police arrested four people Saturday night in a home invasion armed robbery. The robbery took place at 9:20 p.m. in the 2400 block of East 7th Street.
In custody are Adrian Spencer Smokes, 21, of Tulsa; Douglas Andrew Salamandra, 20, of Broken Arrow, and two Chouteau women: Kendra Derry and Sarah Elizabeth Neighbors, both 20.
Police say the Neighbors knew the resident had cash in a safe, and the suspects forced their way into the house after knocking on the door. Smokes produced a handgun and used it to force the victim to open his safe and give them an undisclosed amount of cash, the report states.
The suspects drove away from the home, and the robbery victim got into his car and followed them. Police say Smokes fired the weapon at the victim's vehicle as they drove.
The four suspects were arrested by Tulsa police in the 2700 block of E. Admiral Place.
Smokes was booked on four felony complaints: shooting with intent to kill, robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and knowingly possessing stolen property - the gun.
Kendra Derry was booked as an accessory to the robbery and for possession of marijuana. The Chouteau woman also had three outstanding warrants including felony larceny.
Douglas Salamandra was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a controlled drug (Soma). Sarah Neighbors was jailed on complaints of accessory to the robbery and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Police say both Smokes and Salamandra had the victim's cash in their pockets. The robbery victim also positively identified the suspects.
