Emergency Teams Respond To Drowning In Arkansas River

TULSA, OK -- Authorities have recovered the body of a man who drowned Friday afternoon near 21st and Riverside in the Arkansas River.

Police say the victim was fishing under the 21st street bridge when he slipped on some rocks and fell into the water. 

A bystander told firefighters he went into the water but could not find the man.

There's no word yet on his name or age. 

Authorities used an inflatable boat to recover the man's body. 

The medical examiner will determine his official cause of death.
