TULSA---The fans at Kansas City Chiefs games will soon be chanting to a Tulsa beat. Producers at the Chiefs loved the Tulsa band SOWNDS music, and came to town to shoot a promo video with the band.
Yesterday lead singer Morgan Ganem, guitarist Kipp Clodfelter and drummer Sean ‘Sideshow' Hamilton performed their song ‘Chop it Up', as the Kansas City Chiefs video crew recorded the performance to be replayed at their stadium during games.
‘I always went to the games and thought, that would be cool if I could do something musically that they could incorporate into their whole show,' said singer Morgan Ganem.
‘Our fans when they hear the kind of stuff that SOWNDS puts together, like ‘Chop it Up', and some of the other pieces that we've used SOWNDS for, the fans just respond….it's got a lot of intense energy,' said Kansas City Chiefs Producer Jodain Massad.
