Police Looking For Tulsa Bank Robber

TULSA, OK – Tulsa Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Bank of the West branch Thursday evening.

Officers said the man walked into the bank at 6100 East 51st Street and put a ski mask on while he was in the lobby. Police said he handed a teller a bag and demanded money. The suspect, armed with a black semi automatic handgun, took the money and left.

The suspect is believed to be in his mid to late 30's, about 6 feet tall and 240 pounds. He was wearing a white button-up shirt with a tan overcoat, black pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.

This is Tulsa's 11th bank robbery of the year.
