Tulsa Police Investigate City's Latest Homicide

TULSA, OK – The death of a Tulsa man has been ruled a homicide, Tulsa Police said Thursday.

Officers said a homeowner discovered a man lying on the ground in his backyard in the 100 Block of North Delaware Place around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police identified the man as Kenneth Allen Barrett, 46.  They said he lived nearby.

The Medical Examiner's Office says Barrett died from internal trauma.  Homicide detectives have interviewed persons of interest in the case, but no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on Barrett's death is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.

Barrett's death is Tulsa's 26th homicide of 2010.
