Texas Man Killed After Rolling His Car On A Rogers Co. Highway

INOLA, OK -- A 52-year-old Wichita Falls, Texas man died late Tuesday night after running off the road into a ditch and rolling his car on U.S. Highway 412 in Rogers County. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Thomas Soderstorm was eastbound at the time of the accident. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of county road 422 and Highway 412 east of Inola. 

The Soderstorm was pinned in the wreckage for 34 minutes before he could be extricated by the Inola Fire Department.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

OHP troopers say it appears drinking may have led to the accident. 

What make this accident even sadder is troopers found paperwork in his car indicating Soderstorm was heading to Indiana from Texas to attend his father's funeral.
