TULSA, OK -- Tulsa's police union has offered a compromise to the department's new policy of term limits.
Those would require officers with 15 years experience in a specialty unit to go back on street patrol.

The FOP is suggesting when an officer reaches 15 years, a new officer would come in to be trained until the experienced officer leaves or retires.
The City of Tulsa agreed to term limits as a condition to settle a 16-year-long legal battle with the Black Officers Coalition.
