Wreck Causes Rush Hour Backup On I-44 At Yale In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- A wreck involving a semi truck backed up rush hour traffic on Interstate 44 in Tulsa Thursday morning.

A truck hit a guard rail near Darlington Avenue, damaging the truck and guard rail and forcing the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to close one lane of the highway.

The left lane of eastbound I-44 is closed between Yale Avenue and Sheridan Road and ODOT says it probably won't be reopened until after the morning rush hour.
