Tulsa Murder Suspect Sentenced To Prison

TULSA, OK – A Tulsa murder suspect will spend 66 years in prison for running over and killing Stephen Stewart.

William Parris pled guilty and was sentenced this week.

Police say Parris stole Stewart's work truck in July 2009, then ran over and killed him. Parris then tried to carjack other victims to get away.

Stewart was a beloved father and grandfather. His family tells the News On 6 they are pleased Parris will not get out of prison to hurt anyone else.
