Detectives Search For Suspect In Tulsa Walgreens Pharmacy Robbery

TULSA, OK -- Detectives are looking for a man who they say robbed a Tulsa Walgreens Monday.

The robbery happened at about 4:30 p.m. at the Walgreens located at 3112 South Harvard.

Officers say the suspect entered the pharmacy area and told the pharmacist, "this is a robbery and I want Oxycontin." The suspect then lifted his shirt, showing he had a pistol in his waistband, according to police. The pharmacist complied and the suspect fled the store, walking westbound.

Police describe the suspect as a white male with a dark complexion. He was wearing a wig with a red bandanna tied around his head, black sunglasses, white button up shirt and blue pinstriped Khaki shorts, police said. He is further described as 5'10" – 6'00", 170-180 pounds and about 25-30 years old.
