TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa City Council did not decide to reconsider elements of the city budget Monday, even though Tulsa's Mayor was hoping they would.
"Because I was extremely worried and still am very worried about the unintended consequences of decisions made in the heat of the moment, especially those that have not been thought out," Mayor Dewey Bartlett said.
Despite the mayor's objections, councilors say they worked on amending his budget for weeks before making the final decisions late Thursday night.
