SPERRY, OK -- Bird Creek flooding in northwestern Tulsa County has closed several Tulsa County roads and at least two state highways north and east of Skiatook.

Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says 96th Street North between U.S. Highway 75 and State Highway 11 remains closed because of high water.

High water from Bird Creek has closed several other east-west roads nearby as well.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says State Highway 11 between 76th Street North and State Highway 20 in Skiatook is now closed.

Also state Highway 20 east of Skiatook is closed because of flooding as is State Highway 11 north of State Highway 20.

The National Weather Service says although the rain has ended, excessive runoff will continue to cause flooding in low-lying areas.
