BROKEN ARROW, OK -- The state Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify a body found in Broken Arrow Sunday evening.
Broken Arrow Police say the body of a man was found just before 8 p.m. Sunday about a quarter of a mile south of the 2700 block of West Houston by people feeding their horses.
That's an undeveloped field bordered by a wooded area.
Police say the body had been there for several days.
Investigators aren't sure yet what caused the death, but at this point it's being investigated as a homicide.
"Nothing right now that appears that there is any foul play or obvious signs of trauma, but again we're waiting for further information from the medical examiner," said BA Police Captain Greg Sipes.
Police say the body doesn't match with any recent missing persons reports in the area.
Anyone with information that might help police should call the Broken Arrow Police Department at 918-451-8200.
