Drug Search Of A Muskogee Home Turns Up A Machine Gun

MUSKOGEE, OK -- Muskogee Police have arrested a man who they say was illegally in possession of a machine gun.

Because 40-year-old Aaron Lewis, Jr. is a convicted felon, he is prohibited from possessing any gun.

Police seized the gun and arrested Lewis during the drug search of a home Lewis was staying in Muskogee.

Police tell The News On 6 the gun was found in a bag which also contained a partially loaded clip.

Lewis is in the Muskogee County jail.
