TULSA, OK -- Discovery School plans to reopen Thursday, May 20th, in an alternate location that has not yet been selected.
The school was forced to suspend classes after a storm last Thursday ripped off half the roof of the building.
Principal Fevzi Simsek said several churches have offered the use of their buildings to the school, which had nine days left for the school year. Simsek said the school administration would decide by noon on Tuesday on where to hold temporary classes.
Discovery is a charter school that specializes in math and science. The school has 350 students enrolled this year.
