BARTSLESVILLE, OK -- Those with an interest in woodworking or Frank Lloyd Wright designs have an opportunity to learn more about Usonian perforated board. Palli Davis Holubar will lead a hands-on workshop on June 5th at Price Tower Arts Center.
"This workshop will offer insight into Wright's design process, the geometry of Usonian architecture and the ways in which the perfs formed windows, furniture and screens in many of Wright's mid-century interiors," said Price Tower Arts Center curator Scott Perkins.
The cost of the workshop is $20 for PTAC members and $25 for others. The price covers the cost of all materials and supplies. Also, refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Space for the workshop is limited, so advance reservations are recommended.
"Palli Davis Holubar is a scholar and artist from the Oberlin, Ohio area, and we are very fortunate to have someone of Palli's caliber coming to Bartlesville to lead this workshop," said Debra Woodall, marketing manager for Price Tower Arts Center.
The workshop is open to anyone ages 16 and up.
