Group Gives Bixby Couple A Mobile Home

BIXBY, OK -- A Bixby family's wish came true Friday.

Cindy Cooley is battling breast cancer, just lost her job and will lose her house next week. But, Cindy and her husband won't have to worry about being homeless any longer. 

The group "Wish Upon a Hero" gave the couple a mobile home Friday afternoon. Tulsa area businesses came in and completely remodeled it free of charge.

• Cindy Cooley, Bixby resident: "If it hadn't been for them, I just don't know what we'd have done. Don't you kind of agree?"
• Roger Cooley, Bixby resident: "Yeah."
• Cindy Cooley: "They're wonderful."
• Roger Cooley: "Amazing."
• Cindy Cooley: "They're amazing people, you know, and I didn't realize there were so many good people. I really didn't."

The Cooley's say there's no way to properly thank all the people who've helped them.
