BROKEN ARROW, OK -- Some young Broken Arrow students helped make Green Country a little greener Monday.
Thirty-five Summit Academy first graders planted flowers on Main Street Monday afternoon. The kids worked with the city's Beautification Committee.
They learned a little about gardening and a lot about helping out.
"Well, it's just one of those things," Chris Ohler, a Broken Arrow horticulturist, said. "I love getting involved at a younger age that seems to be really enthusiastic about learning."
