OSU Student Competes In Internet Clothing Design Contest

STILLWATER, OK -- An Oklahoma State University student is among 10 finalists selected nationwide to compete in an online fashion design contest. 

The competition is sponsored by the Olsen twins and will award a trip to New York City to whoever receives the most Internet votes.

Kelsie Mitchell, a senior at Oklahoma State University, says she has created a dress that fits a variety of body types, but is also appropriate for young girls to wear. 

Kelsie tells NewsOn6.com, winning the competition would bring her one step closer to her dream job of designing costumes for movies and Broadway shows. 

"I personally have so many goals and aspirations and this is just one step into beginning to open doors for me," said Kelsie Mitchell.
