TULSA, OK -- Dire warnings come from school superintendents, in the day ahead. School leaders from across the state rally at the State Board of Education meeting Thursday morning.
They're expected to express their fears that the state budget crunch will set schools back four years.
A 10% cut is like going back to 2006. But schools were smaller back then - by 20,000 fewer students.
And costs have gone up because of state-mandated teacher raises that weren't in place four years ago.
