Tulsa Homicide Suspect Turns Himself In

TULSA, OK -- A Tulsa homicide suspect turned himself in to homicide detectives, according to a news release from the Tulsa Police Department.

Deshawn Reed, 20, turned himself in at about 5:00 p.m. Saturday.

Reed was wanted out of Tulsa County for first-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Vandell Nelson at the Apache Manor Apartment Complex.

Nelson was Tulsa's 13th homicide of the year.

Reed will be booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
