TULSA, OK --After 41 years of serving Tulsa, Levon McClellan is calling it quits.
A group from the public works water distribution systems got together to celebration his retirement today.
One man even called him a walking water atlas, saying McClellan remembered just about every valve he ever worked on.
While McClellan says he won't miss getting up at 4 a.m., he's loved working for the city all these years.
"I don't know it's a lot of fun, but I still enjoy working for them. I'm going to miss these guys. They've been my family," McClellan said.
That family gave McClellan a few tokens to enjoy in retirement including a new watch, a gift card to Bass Pro, and new reel for his fishing pole.
McClellan also received a proclamation from the Mayor's office honoring his service.
Now that he's retired, McClellan says he plans to travel and fish, but definitely won't be getting up at 4 in the morning.
