Rented Pickup Truck Bursts Into Flames Damaging BA Home

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A late Wednesday evening pickup truck fire also damaged a Broken Arrow house near 101^st and Oak. 

Shortly after 11 p.m. residents in the home smelled smoke and went outside to find smoke pouring from a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck in the driveway. 

Broken Arrow Fire was called and as they arrived on scene, the pickup truck burst into flames, spreading quickly to the home's garage area. 

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly. 

The pickup truck was a rental and was rented at Budget Car Rental at Tulsa International Airport the day before. 

Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
