Tulsa County Shooting Victim Expected To Survive

TULSA, OK -- Police and EMSA responded when a 25-year-old Tulsa man was shot multiple times Wednesday evening. The shooting happened at about 7 p.m. in the 300 block of West 61st Street North.

Tulsa Police say Robert Lee Verner, also known as "Robo," was shot several times while sitting in his car. They are not sure if it was a drive by or walk up shooting.

Verner was transported to a Tulsa hospital where he underwent surgery.

Police say they do not have a motive or suspects in the shooting as the victim was not cooperating. Verner is expected to survive his wounds.
