TULSA, OK -- Authorities have released the name of the person who died as a result of a Tulsa house fire near 41st and Union Friday morning. The victim was Frank Allen Kostich, 49.
The Tulsa Fire Department was called to the home shortly after 6 a.m. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the home with flames coming out from every window and the roof.
Flames and smoke stopped firefighters from initially entering the home, and they had to knock down the flames before they could gain entry. The ceiling inside the home and the back part of the roof of the home also collapsed which hampered firefighters.

Authorities say Kostich's body was found on the floor near the front door of the home.
The strong gusty winds also played a factor in fighting the fire as firefighters had to keep it from spreading to nearby structures on the east and west sides of the home.
Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire. Tulsa fire investigators did report that there were no working utilities at the house.
The house is considered a total loss.
