TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Police Department officially kicked off its E-ticket effort Wednesday.
Under the E-ticket program, Tulsa Police officers will no longer issue paper traffic tickets and citations.
It will now all be handled with an officer using a hand-held computerized unit.
Tulsa Police says will speed up the time it takes for an officer to issue a ticket and at the same time eliminate all the paperwork.
Sand Springs and Broken Arrow Police Departments have already implemented their own E-tickets programs.
