TULSA, OK -- Two arrests from one traffic stop netted 28 outstanding warrants, according to a Tulsa Police Department news release.

At about 5:25 p.m. Sunday, Officer M. McCord pulled over a red Mercedes two-door car after the vehicle failed to yield while turning left in front of McCord's patrol unit. The officer reported that he had to brake forcefully to avoid hitting the car.

After making the traffic stop, McCord did a records check on the driver and a passenger. Driver Jerrick Jerrail Thompson, 21, had 19 outstanding warrants for his arrest.  The passenger, 22-year-old Raymond A. Howze, Jr., had nine outstanding warrants.

Both were arrested and transported to David L. Moss Jail.
