TULSA, OK -- Tulsan Amber Nicole Doss, 32, was rescued by witnesses after wrecking her Chevy pickup in an early morning crash Friday on Interstate 44 at Lewis Avenue.
Troopers say Doss was driving westbound on I-44 when she made an unsafe lane change and struck another vehicle. Her pickup then ran off the right side of the roadway, overturning about two and three-quarter times coming to rest on its side.
Doss was ejected from the pickup which came to rest on her legs.
Witnesses pulled her from under the pickup before it caught fire and burned completely, according to the report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The second car was driven by Kevin Roy Gisler, 53, of Stewartville, MN. He and his two passengers were not injured. A passenger is Doss' car, 34-year-old Erica Dyan Gonzalez of Tulsa, refused treatment at the scene.
Troopers say Doss was admitted to a local hospital in stable condition with trunk, internal, arm and leg injuries.
