TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Police Robbery Unit is investigating robberies at two different pharmacies involving two different suspects. They are seeking aid from anyone with information about these crimes, according to Sgt. David Walker.
The Walgreens at 1440 S. Lewis was robbed at 5:40 a.m. March 21st by a suspect described as a white male in his late 30s, about 5'6" to 5'8" tall. He was wearing a black stocking cap on his head. The suspect pulled the mask over his face and confronted the employee working at the pharmacy counter.
The man was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. He demanded that the pharmacy employee place Lortabs, a narcotic pain medication, in a green bag. The suspect took the medication outdoors but pulled the mask off his face before he left the store.
On March 16, the CVS Pharmacy at 7041 S. Yale was robbed at about 4:30 a.m. The suspect in this robbery is described as a Hispanic male, 5'06" tall, 120-130 pounds and about 30 years old. He hid his face from the camera and went to the pharmacy counter where he held up a large butcher knife.
The man demanded Lortabs pain medication and fled on foot after the employee gave his the narcotics.
