TULSA, OK -- Two juveniles were arrested and a Tulsa Police officer was injured during a disturbance at a Tulsa church Wednesday evening.
Police say officers were dispatched to the Sheridan Road Baptist Church at 1324 North Sheridan at 7:30 p.m.
The church's pastor told officers a juvenile male and several other unidentified juveniles were not letting anyone leave the church.
That juvenile told members of the congregation that someone in the church would not return his phone call so he and the other juveniles blocked all the exits.
Police officers tried to persuade the juveniles to leave the property, but they refused.
As officers arrested the juvenile male, a second juvenile attempted to interfere with the arrest so he was also arrested.
An officer involved in the arrest sustained a knee injury and was taken by EMSA to a Tulsa hospital where he was treated and released.
