TULSA---In downtown Tulsa people were using their cell phones to snap pictures.
‘Yeah, I take plenty of pictures on my cell phone.'
‘Take them all the time, everywhere we go.'
‘Send them to friends, text them, email them.'
Everyone's taking digital pictures and video these days, and now it's even easier to share them at NewsOn6.com. Just click on the share tab and you can quickly post them for the entire world to see.
‘So your friends and family can see something that you just took a picture of all at once, you wouldn't have to send one to everybody,' said Jackie Gibson.
‘Well, all my friends are out in Reno, I just moved out here from Reno, Nevada, so I could show them what Tulsa is like, and maybe try to woo some of them to come down here,' said Katharine Smith.
‘There's been several times I wished I had a way to show everybody about a trouble spot around town,' added Everett McPhail, ‘beware of this area, or this huge pothole that's going to destroy your car, or whatever so I'd definitely use it.'
It's a great way to show everyone what you're doing.
‘We're at 21st and Yale and we're selling Girl Scout cookies.'
Troop Leader Anna Marie Davidson takes a picture of her girls and sends it to pics@NewsOn6.net. There is even a Google map of the exact location the photo was taken!
‘It was so easy! I took my I-Phone out, took a picture of the girls, typed in the address and sent it right on up. It took just a second to do it, it was really neat! I'm going to use it all the time,' said Anna Marie.
