Another Earthquake Shakes Rural Lincoln County

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rattled Lincoln County just after midnight.

SPARKS, Oklahoma – A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rattled Lincoln County just after midnight.

The United States Geological Survey reported the earthquake struck around 12 a.m. Wednesday about three miles east of Sparks.

At least two earthquakes were reported near Sparks since the start of the year. Oklahoma had a record year for small earthquakes in 2009.
