TULSA, OK -- Robbery detectives believe a man who robbed a Tulsa bank Monday has done this before.
The robbery happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. at the MidFirst Bank located in the 2500 block of East 21st Street.
Officers with the Tulsa Police Department said he approached the teller line and pulled a black semi automatic pistol from his jacket and demanded that the tellers put cash inside a red nylon bag. The tellers complied and the suspect fled the bank with the cash, officers said.
No one was injured and no shots were fired.
The suspect is described as a white man in his 30s, 6'00" and weighs 180. Officers said his face was disguised with charcoal colored makeup. The suspect wore a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a light colored collared shirt, a black jacket, black pants and black shoes. The suspect was wearing cloth gloves.
Officers said this suspect is believed to be the same suspect who has robbed the Arvest at 1515 South Utica in January and February of 2010.
