TULSA, OK -- The public has a chance to get rid of unused furniture and help Tulsa fire victims at the same time. Donations are sought for those families displaced by Friday's fire at the London Square Apartment complex, 59th and Lewis.
There is an immediate need for furniture, appliances and household items, according to Chris Beach of the Cornerstone Assistance Network.
Donations can be brought to The Community Sharehouse, a warehouse at 1120 North Peoria, one block south of Pine. The drive is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
People who are unable to bring items to the Sharehouse can schedule a pick up at their web site: Furniture2Families.
