TULSA, OK -- A lengthy foot chase by Tulsa Police leads to the arrest of an 18-year-old Tulsa man following an armed robbery.
Police received a report of a robbery at 915 p.m. Tuesday.
A police officer responding to the incident spotted a man walking on Gilcrease Museum Road.
That officer attempted to make contact with the man, but he fled.
After a lengthy foot chase, Kyle Smith was apprehended.
The robbery victim told police officers, he had been confronted by Smith on a pedestrian trail in the 2000 block of West Archer.
Police say Smith reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, but the victim was able to knock the gun out of Smith's hand before he fled the scene.
Smith was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of robbery and resisting arrest.
