TULSA, OK -- A man shot by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper early Wednesday morning has been treated and released from a Tulsa hospital.
Roderick Scallion, 26, is now in the Tulsa County jail on complaints of attempting to escape arrest, assault and battery on a police officer and possession of a controlled substance.
The OHP says Trooper Shiloh Hall pulled over Scallion's car for driving with a defective tail light near Mingo and Admiral.
During an altercation, the trooper fired two shots. One shot hit Scallion in the leg.

Trooper Hall remains on administrative leave following the shooting.
