Three Carjacking Suspects Arrested By Tulsa Police

Tulsa Police say two adults and a juvenile were arrested following a carjacking incident early Wednesday morning.

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police say two adults and a juvenile were arrested following a carjacking incident early Wednesday morning.

Officers also worked at least three traffic accidents overnight.

The carjacking incident occurred in an apartment complex at 7th and 107th East Avenue at about 2 a.m.

Police officers spotted the car and stopped it at 11th and Garnett a short time later.

Two people in the car, 26-year-old Byron Crenshaw and 18-year-old Phillip Gay were arrested. A third juvenile suspect fled on foot with a handgun but was found in a nearby creek.  The gun was found nearby.

Police also stopped a pickup truck at 51st and Harvard after they received a report it had been stolen.

The driver was arrested.

Tulsa Police are investigating an accident at Pine and Cincinnati where a woman says she hit her head on the rearview mirror after her car struck something.

Police are trying to figure what she hit.

Police also investigated an accident at 91st and Hudson in which an SUV rolled over.

The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI and two female passengers were taken to a Tulsa hospital by EMSA to be checked out.

And about 5:42 a.m., an EMSA ambulance was struck in an accident at 61st and Garnett.

A witness told police officers the vehicle had been seen weaving on 61st Street before it had struck the ambulance.
