Car Hits, Injures 9-Year-Old Boy In East Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police say a 9-year-old boy was struck by a car after he darted into traffic in east Tulsa Tuesday morning. 

The accident happened at a school bus stop in the 2000 block of South 137^th East Avenue across the street from the old Eastland Mall. 

Tulsa Police say the car hit the boy after he ran into the street between two cars and the impact broke his leg.

He was taken to a Tulsa hospital. 

The driver of the car was not hurt and her car was not damaged in the accident.
