Open House Held At Tulsa Convention Center

TULSA, OK -- The Tulsa Convention Center gets a new look. The public got to see the multi-million dollar renovations during an open house Saturday. 

The flashy, 30,000 square foot Tulsa ballroom is Oklahoma's largest.

Organizers say the new facilities are a big draw for many.

The Convention Center has already booked dozens of wedding receptions, special events and even a graduation.

"We've had so many people come in and you know, their jaws drop, it's the wow factor and they're just absolutely amazed that Tulsa has a facility like this, so we're thrilled," said Janet Rockefeller, Tulsa Convention Center.

The upgrades to the convention center also helped lure the 66ers downtown after playing last season in Bixby.
