Census Bureau Kicks Off 2010 Count In Tulsa

TULSA, OK -- Uncle Sam needs some numbers crunchers.

Tuesday, Mayor Dewey Bartlett helped the census bureau kick off the 2010 count in Tulsa by stressing the importance of counting everyone.

The outcome determines congressional districts, electoral votes and government funding.

You will get a simple, 10-question form in March.

Those who don't fill it out and return it can expect a visit from a census worker.

As for census questions, remember, you will never be asked for personal information, like your social security number or bank account numbers.
