John 3:16 Receives Donation Of Nearly 3,000 Pounds Of Food

BIXBY, Oklahoma -- A Green Country church is helping make sure their neighbors don't go hungry this Christmas.

LifeChurch.TV in Bixby donated nearly 3,000 pounds of food to John 3:16 Mission Sunday. 

Organizers say the mission helps so many people, and they just wanted to give back.

"They just have a lot more people in need and a lot less donations, so this just seemed like the right thing to do," said Travers Mahan, LifeChurch.TV.

Another organization, Circle V Specialized, Inc., donated more than 1,000 toys to John 3:16 for local children in need.
