TULSA, OK -- Tulsa Police are investigating two motel robberies.

The first happened at the La Quinta Inn at about 10:30 Thursday night at 6030 East Skelly Drive.

Police say the suspect entered the motel and pointed a gun at the clerk stating, "you know what this is."

Loss was reported to be money from the cash drawer, contents of the motel clerk's wallet and a laptop computer. The suspect instructed the clerk not to call the police and then ran away, according to police.

No one was hurt.

About an hour later, police say it may have been the same man who walked into the La Quinta Inn near the Broken Arrow Expressway and 129th.

He also demanded money and stole a clerk's wallet and leather jacket, according to officers.

No one was hurt in that robbery either.

If you know anything that can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
