Rural Water District #3 In Muskogee Co. Issues Boil Order

MUSKOGEE COUNTY -- A boil advisory is in effect for Muskogee County Rural Water District #3. 

In a news release, the rural water district says the advisory was issued because of high turbidity in the water system and the potential for contamination.

The district says it advises anyone who lives in Muskogee County Rural Water District #3 to bring their water to a full rolling boil for one minute before consumption or using it for food preparation. 

The district says the advisory remains in effect until further notice.
