Muskogee Man Pronounced Dead After Bar Fight

Muskogee Police are still investigating the death of bar patron following a fight Wednesday afternoon.

MUSKOGEE, OK -- Muskogee Police are still investigating the death of bar patron following a fight Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the 40-year-old man died after a bar fight at the Flea Flickers Sports Bar & Grill at 1910 North York Street.

Muskogee Police were dispatched to the bar to assist EMS with a victim that had been involved in an altercation.

Upon arrival, police officers say they observed Matthew David Jenkins of Muskogee unresponsive on the floor.

Muskogee County EMS transported Jenkins to a Muskogee hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Muskogee Police say about a dozen people who were in the bar at the time of the fight have been interviewed but no arrests have been made.
