Union Pacific To Close Broken Arrow Street For Crossing Work

BROKEN ARROW, OK -- A section of a Broken Arrow street will close as Union Pacific Railroad makes improvements to a grade crossing at that location. The street closing begins Thursday, December 17.

Motorists should plan on the roadway at 23rd (193rd E. Avenue) between Houston (81st Street) and Washington (91st Street) to be closed for two days. It should reopen by late Friday afternoon.

Union Pacific also plans to close the grade crossing on 9th Street (Lynn Lane) between Houston (81st) and Washington (91st) for at least one day for crossing improvements. The date for work at that location has not been announced.
