TULSA, OK -- Detailed descriptions from a robbery victim help Tulsa police catch two armed robbery suspects.
The first robbery happened at about 10:00 Sunday night at the Southport Apartments near 61st Street and Highway 169. Police say one of the suspects approached the victim, while the other waited in the car. Officers say the suspect stole the victim's cell phone and wallet.
A short time later, officers say the suspects struck again, this time at the Cedar Glade Apartments at 75th and Mingo, again taking the victim's cell phone and wallet. This time, the victim was able to give police a detailed description of the man who stuck a gun in his face, as well as the description of another suspect involved and their car.
Officers began searching the area. They spotted the car at the Silver Springs Apartments near 61st and Memorial.
"In searching the car, we found property from the other two robberies and walking back the direction they had just traveled, we found the gun involved with the robbery," said Officer Keith Oakes, Tulsa Police.
Officers arrested a man and a woman. Dominique Lee was arrested on complaints of accessory to an armed robbery. Johnny Frazier was arrested on complaints of robbery with firearm/dangerous weapon after a former conviction of a felony and possession of firearm commission felony, after former conviction of a felony.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
