Tulsa Man Recovering From Injuries Suffered After Truck Crashed Into Apartment

TULSA, OK – The News On 6 has learned new details in the crash that trapped a 44-year-old man under a pile of rubble Saturday in the 6600 block of East Latimer Place.

Eugene Hitchcock told The News on 6 he was at a friend's apartment, went to the kitchen to heat up some food and the next thing he knew, a truck came crashing through the wall.

While Hitchcock says he's in a lot of pain, he says doctors told him nothing's broken, just some cuts and bruises. 

Police arrested 26-year-old Pedro Lopez. Officers say he was driving drunk and tried to leave the scene.
