TULSA, OK -- A holiday tradition kicked off in Tulsa Friday and continues Saturday. It's the 11th year for Christkindlmarket at the German American Society of Tulsa near 15th and Lewis.
There are about 30 vendors selling a unique collection of gifts and treats. Plus, you can enjoy live music, a puppet theatre and much more.
Organizers say they work really hard to create an authentic German feel.
"In every village they would have one of the Christkindlmarkets, and it is just like here - a variety of vendors as well as baked goods. They're traditionally made with honey, nuts, fruits so it's a really great way to get into the Christmas spirit," said Hannelore Giles, Chairperson.
The market is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
