Sapulpa, OK -- Sapulpa is celebrating a new high-tech addition to the high school plaza.
Students and teachers dedicated the Harry C. Freeman Science and Engineering Academy today.
Thanks to the Bartlett Foundation, the school says it was able to completely refurbish the computer lab and build a new lab with a lot of New equipment.
Bernie Henze started teaching engineering classes four years ago and says it's been a hit with the students.
"Students are always showing excitement with the pre-engineering and robotics classes. It's as if they're finally introduced to where they can not only use their mind but use their hands in developing products," Henze said.
Henze says the program has even turned troubled students into contributing members of the class.
