Tulsa's 91st Annual Veterans Day Parade

TULSA, OK -- Hundreds participated in and watched this year's Veterans Day parade in downtown Tulsa.  Marching bands, veterans and other groups were in the parade, while hundreds of children watched the annual parade as it made its way around downtown Tulsa.   

Billed as nation's 5th largest Veterans Day parade, the annual event got underway just after 11 a.m.

This year's Grand Marshall was Paul Andert.  Andert landed on Omaha Beach in Normandy France on D-Day and also fought in the Battle of the Bulge.

Elsewhere across the state, two airmen who died 14 years ago in the Oklahoma City bombing were honored during Veterans Day ceremonies in downtown Oklahoma City. 

A ceremony at the Oklahoma City National Memorial honored Airman 1st Class Cartney J. McRaven and Airman 1st Class LaKesha R. Levy, who were among the 168 killed in the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995.
